Scientific Outreach Day
As part of the dissemination activities of the VALICET project, coordinated by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), the team organized the Scientific Outreach Day on July 22 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, under the theme “Innovation and Sustainability in the Agri-Food Chain: Challenges and Opportunities from Science.” The event brought together professionals, students, researchers, and industry representatives to explore recent scientific advances in food contact material safety, valorization of agro-industrial by-products, and innovative strategies for a safer and more efficient food system. With contributions from invited speakers from academia, industry, and public health institutions, the session offered a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and promote sustainable innovation across the agri-food sector.
