Workshop on Enhancing Food Waste Valorization
On May 29, 2024, within the framework of the VALICET Project (PRIMA programme), the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), as project coordinator, organized an open Workshop on Enhancing Food Waste Valorization at the Faculty of Pharmacy. The event gathered the international partners of the consortium, who presented the results achieved so far regarding the valorization of agro-industrial residues to obtain high value-added compounds for applications in the food industry. The workshop also coincided with the project’s annual consortium meeting, providing a unique space to share progress, strengthen collaboration, and outline future steps of the VALICET project.
